Our story
We help adults feel better with evidence-based care: TMS therapy, Spravato® (esketamine), and in-person psychiatry led by Dr. Khaled Bowarshi, MD.
Florida TMS Clinic was founded in 2019 to bring proven, non-drug and medical treatments for depression and anxiety to Wesley Chapel and Tampa. What began as one treatment room has grown into a practice that treats adults from across Pasco and Hillsborough counties.
We believe mental health care should feel human. That means explaining things in plain language, giving you the same doctor at every visit, and offering advanced options under one roof so you never have to start over somewhere new. We treat people the way we would want our own families treated.
Our journey
- 2019: Florida TMS Clinic opens in Wesley Chapel on November 4.
- First year: the practice grows from one treatment room to three.
- 2022: Spravato® (esketamine) is added to our treatment options.

What we offer
Florida TMS Clinic brings several proven treatments together in one practice, so your care can move from one option to the next without changing providers.
- TMS therapy: a drug-free treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate brain areas linked to mood. FDA-cleared for depression.
- Spravato® (esketamine): an FDA-approved nasal spray for adults with treatment-resistant depression, given under supervision in our REMS-certified office.
- Psychiatry and medication management: in-person evaluation, diagnosis, prescribing, and follow-up for adults with depression and anxiety.
How to choose a TMS clinic
Not all TMS clinics are alike. When you compare, ask who delivers and supervises your treatment, whether a physician is involved through the course, how coil placement is checked, what protocols are offered, and who handles insurance.
