TMS Therapist

Hi there, My name is Eva DiVittorio. I am one of the TMS Therapists here at Florida TMS Clinic. A bit of me, I was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and my family and I relocated to Florida to enjoy year round sunshine. I enjoy going to the beach, watching movies, shopping , and spending time with my family. I have three cats who compete for my attention in my free time. I enjoy helping others, and believe in putting yourself first.

My position at Florida TMS Clinic as a TMS Therapist

My responsibilities consist of checking in all patients, prepping and overseeing all patients’ TMS treatment, and tracking their progress throughout their treatment. I ensure that all patients are informed about their treatment plan and explain their TMS treatment protocol. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation can sound a little more complicated than it should be. Having a supportive TMS therapist next to you is very helpful in alleviating any anxiety you might have.

My Goals as a TMS Therapist

As a TMS therapist, I strive to get to know each of my patients and have them get to know me. Building a trusting environment, I believe, is a key factor in helping my patients go into remission. I strive to actively listen to what is happening in my patient’s life and validate what they are feeling and thinking at the time. I enjoy what I do every day as a therapist here at Florida TMS Clinic. To me, my role goes above and beyond just delivering the treatment. Walking the patient through the TMS journey is usually at the most challenging point in their lives. It connects me more with my patients and will definitely help with my future career plans.

What Do I like About What I Do?

Honestly, the patients may just be the best part. Patients do not come to us in their best state, and I admire them for having a positive spirit and hope despite what they are going through. The work environment is also exceptional. My colleagues, Alexis and Taylor, all have the same goal to help every person who walks into the clinic. I enjoy what I do every day as a TMS Therapist here at Florida TMS Clinic.
